News: New: Presentations at the 1st International Kaleidoscope Learning GRID Special Interest Group Workshop on Distributed e-Learning Environments are available here.

The purpose of this SIG is to favour discussion about :

- the definition of new learning paradigms based on experiential, collaborative and contextualised approaches to exploit GRID technologies for adressing heterogeneoux interoperability issues ;

- the use and the extension of GRID technology for implementing Virtual Organisations to support the new emerging learning scenarios (collaborative virtual learning communities) ;

- the definition of evaluation models and strategies able to assess the efficacy and the effectiveness of GRID based learning learning models and systems ;

- the definition and the validation of implementation paths able to introduce GRID based didactic models in real distributer e-learning organisations.
